Chassad Battalion provides assistance to KSO

Ukhrul, October 24 2021: Chassad Battalion under the aegis of IGAR (South) distributed teaching aid to Kuki Student Organisation in Chassad village on October 24 .

The aid extended in the form of 20 chairs and whiteboards by Assam Rifles would facilitate improvement of infrastructure required for educational and social development of local populace residing in an inordinate place, said a statement of IGAR(S).

The goodwill gesture of the Assam Rifles will enable KSO in sustaining their charitable work for the society and pave the way towards a stronger bond between security forces and locals, it added.

The villagers of Chassad expressed their appreciation to the Assam Rifles for its assistance and commitment in maintaining peace and tranquility in the region.
