Imphal, February 19 2025: The Manipur Sand Union has informed all concerned that the union will remain defunct for a period of three months (minimum) with immediate effect.

In a release, Manipur Sand Union said that the resolution was taken by "registered stockist members" and executive members of the Union during a General Body Meeting held on February 19, 2025 .
