Prof Gunindro to be conferred Award

Imphal, February 12 2025: The Khumbongmayum Gourahari Madhumati Mother Language Award for the year 2025 will be presented to Prof Paonam Gunindro in recognition ofhis contribution in the field of language & culture.

The award given by Sahitya Thoupang Lup carries a cash prize of Rs 10,000, citation and a shawl, said a release issued by Sahitya Thoupang Lup.

The award distribution ceremony will be held on the occasion of International Mother Language Day on February 21, 2025 at the auditorium of State Central Library, Imphal.
