Thoubal, September 01 2024: Tamengkhong river that runs through Leirongthel Ningel was dredged using machinery.

The dredging work was carried out under Leirongthel Ningel Gram Panchayat Pradhan Salam Kumar.

Volunteers from Khoirom Mathak and locals of the region took part in the dredging work.

Speaking about the work today, Leirongthel Ningel Gram Panchayat Pradhan Salam Kumar advised people against dumping waste in the river.

He urged the people for their support in keeping the river clean.
