Imphal, August 27: Assam Rifles in collaboration with a Hyderabad based NGO, Operation Blessing India conducted a free-medical camp at Kachai on August 24.Around 500 villagers from 11 villages were examined on the first day.

Seeing the heavy rush, the camp was extended for another day.

Free eye check-ups were also conducted during the camp.

As these villages are far from Government medical facilities, village elders appreciated the efforts of the AR, said a press release of PRO of Hqs IGAR(S).
