Imphal, September 23 2026: A joint team of Heingang police and QAT, 86 Bn CRPF intercepted a passenger bus at Mantripukhri and seized 20,000 suspected WY tablets weighing 2.1 Kg yesterday.

Along with the seizure, the security forces arrested two persons, Md Anish Khan (37) of Lilong Usoipokpi and Khorimayum Nurul Haque (36) of Lilong Haoreibi Makha Leikai.

This seizure came a day after Lilong police arrested one Shulam Sayed Azad (50) of Lilong Nungei Ningthibi Bazar and seized 208 Tramadol capsules, 583 Alprazolam capsules and 111 Diazepam tablets on September 21 .
