Imphal, January 21 2022: Governor La Ganesan has inaugurated the Raj Bhavan Play Ground cum Children Park at the southernmost side of the Raj Bhavan Complex today.

After inaugurating the playground, the Governor stated that the newly developed playground will facilitate people working in the Raj Bhavan, especially women and children by enabling them to take morning walks, jog and exercise.

The Governor further wished the gathering on the auspicious occasion of Statehood Day today.

Speaking on the occasion, Bobby Waikhom, Secretary to Governor, reminisced the history of how Manipur became independent and developed as a full-fledged State of the Indian Union.
