Lions Club distributes sewing machines

Imphal, February 19 2025: Lions Club of Imphal City, Lions Club of International District 322D, distributed sewing machines to two destitute women namely Haobijam Sanathoi Chanu of Torbung Waikhurok, Bishnupur district, presently staying at TAKDO, IDP relief camp, Khoyathong Pukhri Mapal and Keisham Sitapriya Devi of Seijang Masyai Leikai, Imphal East district.

According to a release issued by Lions Club of Imphal City, the sewing machines were provided under the "District Club Community Impact Grant for Women Empowerment Scheme" of Lions Clubs International District 322 D to improve their income and control over their lives with positivity.
