Imphal, December 10 2009: The identity of the mini truck driver who was killed in a coalition with another Tata truck last evening at a spot in between Changoubung and Kangpokpi along Imphal-Dimapur road has been established.

He was one Thokchom Tomba (55) of Thongjao in Thoubal district.

Tomba was also the owner of the ill-fated mini truck.

In the collision yesterday, two more women passengers sustained injuries while another injured victim identified as Angom Ibothem (47) of Kakching Khunou was rescued from being crushed to death by a combined team of Senapati District Police, 4th IRB and 36 and 22 Assam Rifles under 59 Mountain Brigade.
