Senapati, November 10 2022: In a heroic and laudable act, a 12-year-old boy saved a minor boy from drowning.

The incident happened on November 5 when they were on a trip to a farm located along National Highway No 2 (Imphal-Dimapur road) .

They were among hostel students who were led by a female warden, Ashuni of Daili Village, Kangpokpi district.

They were visiting the famous Tumuyon Khullen Kiwi farm.

As the students were touring around the farm, the minor, a Class III student of SFS High School accidentally slipped into a nearby fish pond.

Seeing the boy drowning, 12-year-old Andrew, s/o RK Mathihon of Maremei village jumped into the pond and rescued the boy.

The timely selfless action of the courageous boy was appreciated by the locals.
