Source: Chronicle News Service
Imphal, July 10 2024:
Drug Inspector of Drug Control Administration under Directorate of Health Services has notified all chemists, druggists, pharmacies and medical stores affected by the recent floods not to sell damaged/contaminated medicines.
As per the notice, there have been reports of chemists, druggists, pharmacies and medical stores re-selling the flood affected medicines to the public.
This is against the law and as such, all concerned should stop the act at one, failing which the authority concerned will take strict action immediately.
