Imphal, August 07 2016 : Tarao Students' Union has clarified that the statement of the union published on August 1 regarding the nomination of Chandel ADC nominee Members was not a unanimous thought.

In a statement, Tarao Students' Union president Katrimsha Moningyear stated that though the union strongly condemned the deci- sion of the State Government over the appointment of ADC nominee Members of Chandel District, the union however has noth- ing against any individual or authority.

And the word "boycott" was not the unanimous voice of the union therefore it should be read as condemned, the statement further clarified.
