Legal awareness cum interaction prog held

Imphal, April 04 2015 : A one-day legal awareness cum interaction programme was held today at Recreation Hall, DHQ, Imphal West Police.

The programme was jointly organised by Imphal West District Legal Services Authority and Imphal West District Police under the sponsorship of Manipur State Legal Service Authority.

A Guneshwar Sharma, District and Session Judge, Manipur East and chairman, IWDLSA; RK Memcha Devi, CJM (Imphal West); Advocate Ng Tejkumar, Director of Prosecution, Manipur and Dr AK Jhaljit Singh, SP (Imphal West) attended the programme as the dignitaries.

Aribam Guneshwar Sharma speaking as the resource person dwelt on the Protection of Children from Sexual Offences (POCSO) Act, 2012 .

Many police personnel attended the legal awareness cum interaction programme.
