Kids save toddlers from drowning

Imphal, October 08 2021: Joint efforts of two children managed to save two toddlers from drowning in a pond at Thinungei Awang Leikai in Bishnupur district on October 5 .

According to a local source, the two toddlers namely Loitongbam Thoungamba (3) and Loitongbam Yaikhomba (2) of Thinungei Awang Leikai fell into a pond with full of water on that fateful day.

A seven years old local child named Loitongbam Nikhil, son of Loitongbam Nirendra and Dhani saw the drowning toddlers and they alerted another child named Loitongbam Syrus (12) son of Loitongbam Jugeshor and Premlata.

Syrus rushed to the pond and saved the two toddlers from drowning, the source said.
