Imphal, July 30 2025: The Committee on Protection and Management of Uipo (Khoibu) Ancestral Land (CPMUAL) has denied allegations that the geo-mapping of Chingkhan Yonyer Village in Machi Block, Tengnoupal, was conducted illegally by individuals from Khoibu village.

In a statement, CPMUAL described the Chingkhan Yonyer Village Authority's claim as baseless and fabricated.

The Committee further alleged that the 'proposed Chingkhan Yonyer Village' submitted false documents in its application for village recognition, which led to the rejection of its recognition process by Government officials on February 1, 2002, February 2, 2002, and March 11, 2002 .
