State actress, designer shine spotlight on Manipur crisis

Imphal, November 19 2024: Appearing as the showstopper at the 12th North East Festival, renowned Manipuri film actress Soma Laishram accompanied by fashion designer Arbin Toijam shone a spotlight on the Manipur crisis on November 17 .

On the last day of the festival held at MDC Stadium in New Delhi, Soma Laishram and Arbin Toijam accompanied by other models held placards with the slogans "Stop Meitei genocide", "Save Manipur", "We stand for peace", "Stop violence against Meitei women and children" bringing attention to the violent crisis at the National capital.
