AR honours braveheart

Tengnoupal, October 15 2024:
The Assam Rifles held a solemn wreath laying ceremony yesterday at the Battalion Quarter Guard, Moreh in Tengnoupal district to honour the memory of Havildar (Late) Ramakant Singh.
According to a statement issued by IGAR (S), the braveheart made the ultimate sacrifice on October 13, 2003 during an operation against insurgents in Torabari, Assam.
The ceremony commenced with wreath laying where many paid tribute to the braveheart.
Havildar Ramakant Singh's sacrifice is etched in the annals of Assam Rifles history, inspiring current and future generations to uphold the ideals of duty and selflessness, said the IGAR (S) press note.
