Yuva Khel Mahotsav held at Dikhuiram village

Tamenglong, August 14 2021: As part of Azadi ka Amrut Mahotsav, 44 Assam Rifles under the aegis of 22 Sector AR/IGAR(East) organised a three days Yuva Khel Mahotsav from August 11 to 14 in Dikhuiram village of Tamei Sub Division.

The celebration was organised as Jan bhagidari with an aim of promoting Fit India Mission for physical, mental and psychological well-being, said a statement of PIB Defence Wing.

A total of 14 teams including three women teams competed to prove their mettle in Football and Volleyball games.

The final matches of the tournament were played on August 14 .

On the final day, the Company Commander of Assam Rifles distributed the prizes to winners and runner up teams.
