Imphal, June 13 2024: Imphal Municipal Corporation (IMC) Pensioner Association has appealed to the Director of MAHUD, Government of Manipur to take necessary actions to release the pending pension money for 16 months at the earliest.

In a release, Association's general secretary Ph Chaoba Singh said that a total of 282 pensioners are currently facing extreme hardship as the pension money for 16 months has not been released by the IMC.

The association further appealed to the State Government to look into the matter in the interest of the pensioners.
