Imphal, October 05 2024: The Public Health Engineering Department (PHED), Government of Manipur, has informed all concerned that the Moirangkhom Water Treatment Plant will be temporarily shut down from October 7, 2024 for cleaning of the settlement tank and reservoir.

Normal Water supply will be resumed as soon as the cleaning process is completed, said PHED in a release.

The cleaning process is expected to take no longer than five days.

The PHED has expressed regret over the inconvenience caused to the consumers of Moirangkhom Water Treatment Plant.
