10-days skill development training kicks off

Thoubal, March 03 2025: Krishi Vigyan Kendra Thoubal in collaboration with ICAR ATARI Zone-VII, Umiam kicked off a 10-days skill development training programme on "Extraction, Processing, Value Addition and Product Development from Pineapple Leaf Fiber" at KVK Thoubal training hall today.

The event was hosted by Agriculture Department, Govt of Manipur under the activities programme of ICAR- National Institute of Natural Fiber Engineering and Technology (NINFET), Kolkata.

Agriculture Department Director, Peter Salam, ICAR-NINFET, Kolkata, ARS Scientist, Er Naveen Jose and KVK Thoubal, Head Senior Scientist, Dr Zeshmarani Sarangthem attended the event.
