Khunthong Latpa, the religious ceremony which is held on the last Saturday of the Kanglei lunar month Lamtaa since time immemorial was held yester at four sacred places of four different Ibudhou (Gods) by Maichous, Amaibas and Amaibis of the Sana Konung.
The four sacred places of the Ibudhous are the Ahongpung, the sacred place of Ibudhou Marjing at Khurai, the Soudongpung, the sacred place of Ibudhou Wangbren at Wangkhei, the Wangthonbipung, the sacred place of Ibudhou Koubru and the Lamdaipung, the sacred place of Ibudhou Thangjing at Yaiskul.
The relegious ceremony was held under the guidance of Maichou Angomcha Wangkhem Ibochou of Sana Konung Kumba Shanglen.
