AR nabs five UGs

Imphal, January 27, 2011: Troops of 15 Assam Rifles of 9 Sector under HQ IGAR (South) apprehended five KCP(KK Nganba) cadres on January 25 around 11.40 pm in an operation discovering the movement of UG cadres in general area Yairipok Yambem.

The apprehendees were identified as Laishram Subhash Singh (27) s/o Late Laishram Binoy Singh of Wankhem Thambal Khong Mayai, Ponjembam Shaskhan Shana alias Khaba Singh (25) s/o P Thoiba Singh of Nambol Kongkham, Oinam Jeet Singh alias Ranjeet (26) s/o Late Oinam Nara Singh of Yaishkul Hirumba Leikai, Gurumayum Sanamatom Sharma (35) s/o Late Gurumayum Bonbhari Sharma of Keishampat Hodam Leirak and Laishram Chandra Kumar Singh (C Nanao) (27) s/o Late Laishram Tomba Singh of Nambol Kongkham Awang Leikai.

A Pistol with magazine and seven live rounds of 9 mm were recovered from the apprehendees who along with recoveries were over to Thoubal Police station.
