Brick-paved IVR in Wangkhem CP inaugurated

Thoubal, October 26 2021: An Inter Village Road (IVR) in Wangkhem Gram Panchayat Ward no.10 Singa Leirak Macha has been inaugurated and handed over to people by Wangkhem MLA Keisham Meghachandra on Tuesday.

After inaugurating the road, MLA Meghachndra said the brick-paved road measuring 670m in length was constructed by the line department of MGNREGS at a cost of Rs 19 lakh while 25 percent of the work was executed by local job card holders at highest quality.

He observed that brick-paved road will not only be convenient for the public but will also last long.

The MLA informed that at least four brick-paved roads have been constructed in Wangkhem Gram Panchayat so far.
