Youth killed in road mishap

Imphal, November 23 2021: A 23-year-old youth was killed in a road accident involving a Honda Activa and a Tata DI in Keinou Keithel area under Bishnupur police station on Monday.

The two vehicles had head-on collision on Monday around 2.20 pm and the Activa rider died at the spot.

The victim has been identified as Laishubam Nandagopal, son of Basanta of Ngaikhong Siphai in Bishnupur district.

Meanwhile, Manipur University Students' Union (MUSU) observed a condolence meeting following the demise of Nandagopal, who was class representative of the University's department of Community College.

In a statement, MUSU shared the grief and pain of the bereaved family.
