Imphal, October 20 2024: A meeting of the IGAR (South) Official Language Implementation Committee was held on October 15, at Headquarters Inspector General Assam Rifles (South), Mantripukhri.

In a release, PRO IGAR (S) informed that 17 members attended the meeting, which was held under the chairmanship of Major Mangesh Lahankar, officiating GSO-1 (SD), IGAR (S).

During the meeting, various points were discussed for implementation of official language in the offices.

The chairman stressed the importance of use of Hindi language in the offices and requested all members to implement the policy issued by central government, the release added.
