Chandel, July 13 2021: As a part of the 'Go Green Initiative', Chandel Battalion under the aegis of IGAR(South) conducted tree plantation drive in Pallel and Modi on July 12 .

The tree plantation drive was organised with the aim to control global warming, make the environment pollution free and spread awareness on the importance of a clean environment, said a statement of IGAR(S) .

As a part of the initiative, nurseries were constructed and saplings of various trees were planted with an aim to spread a sense of responsibility towards environment.
