Lions Club opens eye hospital

Imphal, May 04 2012:
An eye hospital of Lions Club of Imphal has been inaugurated today by the Governor Gurbachan Jagat at the Club's Service Centre in Sangaiprou.
The Lions Eye Hospital will have 10 beds and will undertake operation cases from tomorrow onward.
Lions Club of Imphal president Lion Vijay Patni graced the occasion as the president.
Noting humane service being rendered by the Club for the under-privileged section of the society, the Governor exuded confidence that the new hospital will restore eye sight of many in the coming years.
