DIC liquor loaded Creta car seized

Imphal, July 11 2021: A team of Imphal West district police commando seized 527 bottles of DIC liquor from a Creta car at Chingmeirong.

According to a police report, a commando team led by Jemadar Ayekpam Sad-ananda conducted frisking and checking at Chingmeirong area at about 11am on Sunday during which a numberless Creta car was stopped and searched consequently resulting in recovery of 527 bottles of DIC liquor.

The team detained occupants of the car namely Khagokpam Deepak Singh (27) son of Kh Tomba Singh of Khurai Ningthoubung Leikai and Phuritsabam Ashakiran Singh (48) son of Ph Manglemba Singh of Uripok Bachaspati Maning Leikai for necessary action.
