Bishnupur, November 08 2024: A trooper of 2 Maha Regiment, posted at Loukoipat, reportedly shot himself to death with his service weapon on Friday.

According to report received here, the deceased was one NK Bhabiskar Sharad Dondu (37), s/o late Dondhu of Jalgaon district, Maharashtra.

His army number is 4580416 F .

He shot himself after returning from Leimakhong to the Loukoipat post at around 4 pm.

A case has been registered by Bishnupur police in the regard.
