State BJP enrols 300 new members

Imphal, November 21 2014 : Manipur BJP continued its online mass membership enrolment drive here on Friday during which more than 300 people registered themselves as new members of the party.

The membership drive was conducted under the leadership of president of Bharatiya Janata Party Yuva Morcha, Manipur Pradesh, O Malesh at Kwairamband bazar, Khurai Lamlong bazar and Kwakeithel bazar.

O Malesh said the drive will be continued in Nambol and Moirang in Bishnupur district, Wangoi in Imphal West and Thoubal district.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi flagged off the online membership drive on November 1 this year.

The BJP aims to enrol 50 lakh new members for the party during the drive which will continue till March 31 next.
