Imphal, November 14 2022: Keeping in view of the recent instances of violation of ILP guidelines, illegal act of making fake ID cards like Aadhaar cards, voter cards, driving licenses, ration cards and ILPS cards, as well as arrest of illegal immigrants and violators, district administration of Bishnupur has directed all house owners/lessors under the jurisdiction of Bishnupur district to mandatorily get verification of tenants from police stations concerned.

An order issued in this regard on Monday also asked SP Bishnupur to ensure verification of all houses, guest houses, hotels, as well as genuineness of documents possessed by tenants in the district.
