Imphal, July 14 2021: Following the detection of 65 Covid positive cases in the last three days in a particular locality, the State Government has declared a portion of Sagolband Moirang Leirak covering as many as 11 households as a containment zone.

According to an order issued by DC Imphal West, containment measures such as sealing of the geographical areas; closure of schools, offices; ban on vehicular movement and public gathering of any type has been effected.

The containment order will be lifted after 10 days, provided all the persons within the containment zone are tested negative and now new Covid cases emerge during the said period, it informed.
