Imphal, September 01 2024: 'Ichel', a book penned by Laishram Basanta was released in a function organised by Manipur Sahitya Samiti, Thoubal, at Loktak Hall of Manipur Press Club here on Sunday.

The release function was attended by Manipur Sahitya Samiti Thoubal president Akoijam Debendra as president, Manipuri Language Advisory Board, Sahitya Akademi convenor Prof Rajen Toijam as chief guest and Sahitya Akademi awardee Dr Thokchom Ibohanbi as guest of honour as Manipur University associate professor Wahengbam Kumar shafted his thoughts of the book.
