Imphal, December 24 2012:
With the AIR, Imphal and some sections of the media carrying the news report that the indefinite bandh has been relaxed from midnight of December 23 till midnight of December 26, thousands of shoppers who came out to purchase some basic commodities were left stranded after bandh enforcers made it known that the bandh was still on.
A large number of people who thronged the commercial centres of Paona Keithel, Thangal Keithel, Ima Keithel, BT Road and other centres had to beat a hastry retreat.
