Imphal, September 24 2022: A feast was organised for the inmates of Senior Citizens' Home at Kongba Nongthombam Leikai today in the memory of Late Laitonjam Babu who made enormous contributions for the upliftment of 'Manipur Nat Sankirtan' .

The feast was organised by the family members of Late Laitonjam Babu in connection with the ongoing Langban Tarpan Katpa ritual which is carried out to pay tribute and offerings to the departed forefathers and seeking blessings for a As a part of the occasion, gifts were presented to the inmates of the Home by the family members.

It may be noted that Late Laitonjam Babu was a member of Shree Shree Govindaji Temple Pala and had strove earnestly for the promotion of Manipuri Nat Sankirtan.
