8th Jiri Treaty observance held

Jiribam, April 19 2024:
The 8th Jiri Treaty Observation was held at Kangleipak Students' Association (KSA) Jiribam office yesterday.
The observance was jointly organised by KSA Jiribam and Jiribam Women Association of Kangleipak (JIMWAK), said a press note by KSA.
It is worth noting that the Jiri Treaty of April 18, 1833 was signed between Maharaja Gambhir Singh and the British Government in which Jiri River was made the boundary of Manipur.
