Imphal, March 31 2023: No fresh cases of Covid in Manipur yet as 78 samples tested in the last 24 hours returned negative.

The samples were sent from four districts - Jiribam (48), Kamjong (21), Imphal West (8) and Churachandpur (1) .

There is no change in the number of Covid infections and deaths as the State has been remaining Covid free for quite a time now.

Covid Control Room said that 139924 people have been infected by Covid since its first detection in Manipur in March 2020 while 2149 have died due to complications.

Yesterday, four doses of Covid vaccine were administered.
