Naga Peoples� Organisation, Se-napati today held a special emergency meeting with its unit tribal hohos, prominent politicians and social workers of the district including PS Henry Paotei, MLA at the Women Hall, Senapati village to discuss the rejection of the Census 2001 of three sub divisions - Purul, Tadubi and Paomata by the Registrar General, Census of India and fiasco over the inaugurated railway head at Karong by the then Union Minister Nitish Kumar.
The meeting, with regard to rejection of census report constituted a 16 member team consisting of officials from five tribal hohos, students' organisation, women bodies of the district under the supervision of the NPO with Markson Matesou, president Poumai Masou Me as its convener to study the matter and initiate further course of action.
