Meritorious students feted

Comet School on Saturday organised a felicitation ceremony to honour meritorious students of the school who secured good marks in the Higher Secondary Examination 2025 conducted by COHSEM.
The ceremony held at the premises of the school in Changangei Uchekon was attended by Comet School managing director, Sanjenbam Samarjit Singh, SIC Comet School managing director, Sashikanta Heikrujam; Comet director, Irom Umakanta Singh; Comet School advisor, Yensenbam Tejkumar Singh; Comet School principal, Thoudam Devachandra Singh; Comet School vice principal, Nameirakpam Bobichandra Singh, teachers, students and parents.
27 subject toppers and 11 position holders were honoured with simple gifts during the ceremony.
Notably, Comet School recorded a pass percentage of 99.84% in this year's HSE with 630 students successfully clearing the examination out of the total 631 students.
Moreover, EMA Trust on Sunday felicitated meritorious students sponsored by the Trust who had successfully passed the Higher Secondary Examination 2025.The ceremony held at Haobam Marak Ngangom Leikai was attended by JNIMS former Director, Dr Deben; JNIMS Medicine Department, Head, Prof Rajendro and Colonel L Jim Meetei as special invitees.
During the ceremony, Leichombam Dollina from Kangchup Kharang, Moirangthem Monali from Yourabung Mayai Leikai, Soibam Banina from Thoubal Kangthokchao Maning Leikai and Lenex Moirangthem from Sagolband Nepra Menjor Leikai were honoured with cash prizes and other gifts.
