Churachandpur, March 17 2010: Bridge of Hope (BOH), a Child Care project of Believers' Church celebrated their annual day celebration-cum-distribution of "School hygiene, text books and uniform" to day at Bangla S Kawtlian community hall.

TPS Sidhu, Commandant of 140 Bn BSF was the chief guest at the function.

As part of the annual day celebration, a talent show of the children was also held.

The chief guest, Sidhu, in his speech, expressed his happiness to be with Bridge of Hope children saying that though the project was started only a few months ago, one can see the positive results of the role undertaken by Bridge of Hope as noble job.

He further expressed hope that if more and more such care project can be taken up in the days to come, it could bring peace and prosperity in trouble-torn Manipur.

He also gave away various awards constituted by BOH to the children.

The BOH project co-ordinator Kaikholen Haolai presented memento and traditional shawl Pongmangvom to the chief guest.

The chief guest also presented gifts to the organisers.

It may be recalled here that last month the project also launched a programme of distribution of multi vitamin to pregnant and lactative women for three months in collaboration with Vitamins Angel Organization, USA.

Further, under its vocational training project,it also launched Tailouring centre.
