Covid recovery rate improves to 97 pc

Imphal, January 10 2021:
Following recovery of 39 more people from COVID-19, the State's recovery rate has now reached 97.01 per cent.
Following their recovery, the 39 individuals were discharged from CAPF (1), home isolation (28), RIMS (6), Lanva (1), Kakching (1), Jiribam (1) and Shija Hospital (1) .
Moreover, the State recorded only 14 new positive cases including three personnel of CAPF during the last 24 hours, informed a press release issued by Additional Director (Health) and COVID-19 Common Control Room spokesman Dr Khoirom Sasheekumar Mangang.
The new positive cases were detected at RIMS, JNIMS, Shija Hospital, Hillside Hospital, Babina Diagnostics and Bishnupur.
The 11 civilians who have been tested positive are residents of Imphal West (4), Imphal East (3), Bishnupur (2) and Churachandpur (2) .
The cumulative number of positive cases is 28,660 (general population 25,271 and Central security personnel 3,389) .
This figure includes 490 active cases improves (general population 469 and Central security personnel 21) and 27,805 discharged cases (general population 24,441 and Central security personnel 3,364) .
There was no report of COVID-19 related death during the last 24 hours.
