Imphal, May 08 2025: In a remarkable achievement, "Yahouthengbam Khoimu" has emerged as a major winner at the JOSH International Film Festival 2025, securing the prestigious Best Feature Film award.

The film stars Avi Khundrakpam, Ithoi Oinam, Ratana Kshetrimayum, Lalitabi, Pumeshwari, Surjit and Kenny Wahengbam.

The film is directed by Rakesh Naorem and the screenplay/dialogue is written by Khwairakpam Bishwamitra.

The film's producer, Dr RK Nayansana Devi played a pivotal role in bringing this critically acclaimed project to life.

Telangana Council of Higher Education's Vice Chairmen Prof Etikaala Purushotham and JOSH International Film Festival founder chairman Sanjosh Tagaram jointly handed over the award to Rakesh Naorem during an award distribution ceremony held at Hari Hara Kala Bhavan, Hyderabad on Wednesday.

Notably, Yahouthengba Khoimu which was released at the auditorium of the Manipur State Film Development Society (MSFDS) on January 9, 2025, had also won different awards at All India Film Festival 2025, 6th Crown International Film Festival and Bharat Independent Cinema Film Festival 2025 .
