Senpam village is located around 4 km from Namkalong junction bazar.
The District Legal Services Authority team and members of Bar Council who brought the woman were warmly welcomed by JNIMS Director L Deven and his staff at the hospital.

The woman was brought by the villagers on a bamboo stretcher for more than 2 km in a narrow hill road.
Aribam Noutuneshwari said that DLSA Tamenglong came across the woman identified as Khangthailui alias Kumari (31) when they organised a legal awareness programme at Namkalong.
Her health deteriorated after she gave birth to her third child in November 2014, she said.
During her recent visit to JNIMS hospital to meet RK Tamphasana, she narrated the story of Khangthailui to JNIMS Director L Deven.
As the Director expressed his desire to provide treatment to the woman as well, members of DLSA and Bar Council went in three vehicles and an ambulance to bring the women to JNIMS hospital.
