NSCN-IM ridicules ZUF's State demand

Referring to the Zeliangrong United Front's demand for a separate State for Zeliangrong people, NSCN-IM has categorically stated that no other dream can be dearer than being a Naga living in his own land.
Naga people very well understand as others do that the so called Zeliangrong United Front (ZUF) which is made up of few disgruntled youth from this region have been perpetrating highly criminal actions against their own people including mass rape of school going children, killing of aged and young people, said a press release issued by the GPRN, Zelad region CAO.
It is also very clearly visible that certain forces including military men and State law enforcing agencies are corroborating ZUF while serving the vested interests and ambitions of some State politicians and bureaucrats from Manipur valley.
These misguided boys armed and sponsored by selfish motivations now profess to represent the interest of Zeliangrong people and are advancing thus far to assert their right to a separate State.
Questioning whether the demand for separate State does not tantamount to further breaking of the present map of Manipur State, the GPRN asserted that if it is the case, then the Meiteis are expected to be the first to stand up and disapprove this idea of separate Zeliangrong State.
Such whimsical thought of reorganizing separate Zeliangrong State is not the issue of Naga people; neither that is the decision of people living in the Naga ancestral home known as Zeliangrong.
In a moment of hope and promise of final settlement to such a very long-going conflict between GOI and the Naga people , the idea of some people who are simply carried away by their own selfish imagination have been trying to jeopardize the peace process.
GOI has candidly sustained this peace initiative.
There are other friendly and just-peace-loving groups and peoples actively involved with the peace parley between two separate political identities.
This so called ZUF is selected by few people's subsidized armed club to supply trouble to people living in the Zeliangrong region in particular and the Nagas at large with the strong Meiteis' land-grabbing propensity, alleged NSCN (IM) .
These deceived boys had wreaked havoc and stricken fear wherever they are, it alleged while inviting all concerned citizens to come and hit upon the proportion of military population and these headless criminal fronts operating amidst terror-stricken innocent civilians inside the Khoupum valley today.
The citizens of this small valley have lived as hostages of those outlawed organizations for too long.
"Who is holding back the administration to go there and stop this lawlessness while the sponsors of this highly criminal people are announcing a 3-day bandh in the name of this armed club ? Is the idea to promote the realness of Manipur territorial integrity, or just to unleash terror and misery to the already marooned victims in order to announce their fanciful ambition?", it added.
