Nemcha celebrates New Year at Haijang

Kangpokpi, January 02 2022: As part of her visit to the Churches of Kangpokpi AC during this festive season, Nemcha Kipgen on Sunday joined the people of Haijang village in celebrating New Year 2022 .

Kangpokpi Town Committee members accompanied Kangpokpi AC MLA Nemcha Kipgen in the celebration at Haijang village.

A special blessing ceremony for the local MLA was also organized by the Church wherein Nemcha knelt on the ground as the Pastor, ordained deacons, and Church leaders of Haijang Christian Church prayed for her welfare and success.

The villagers and Church leaders praised the Lord for blessing the people of Kangpokpi AC with not only a dynamic leader but a true people's representative in the Manipur Legislative Assembly who understands the needs of her people and acts accordingly.

They also prayed for her well-being and sought God's blessing for her future political and individual career.

Nemcha celebrates New Year at Haijang

Visibly delighted and emotional Nemcha Kipgen, thanked the people of Haijang village for their invaluable love and blessing while conveying her immense joy in being a part of the joyous celebration.

Addressing the gathering, Nemcha said, "the first time I stepped into the village, I was extremely moved and astonished to witness the absence of proper road connectivity in the village as it is situated just a stone throw away from the District Headquarters" .

The MLA continued that she had initiated plans and measures in collaboration with the village authority to connect the village with the rest of the world by constructing a bridge over Gundung river.

"There is a lot more to do for the welfare and development of the village, and you don't need to come and appraise me for that as I have already planned and prepared for it.

With the existence of proper road connectivity various other developments will flow in one after another", she asserted.

Emphasizing the importance of having a proper and good road map for society to move on the right track, Nemcha stated that the Bible is the best road map for the Christian community as the Gospels and its words are the best guidance to bring the society into the right track.

"Let us pray with heart and soul for our society as prayer is the most important tool for the Christian women to connect our society and family with God", said the MLA.

She also motivated the gathering with the inspirational life story of Dr DGS Dhinakaran.

The Church leaders and people of Haijang village conveyed their gratitude to the MLA for her concern and care for the village.
