Missing youth found dead

L Poumai of Purul Akutpa village, Purul Sub-Division who went mis-sing since November 29 was reportedly found dead at Capital Hospital, Bhubane-swar, Odisha on December 1 .
Soon after the news of his death was reported, denizens of Senapati district headquarters closed down all the business establishments to condole the demise of the young boy.
Poumai Students Union (PNTM) has expressed strong resentment over the alleged killing of L Poumai at Odisha.
Demanding the State Government to take up appropriate steps and investigate the case, the student body said that it will not remain silent if justice is not delivered.
Sources said that PNTM led by its president Theophi-lus Rangmathat has met De- puty Commissioner Jacintha Lazarus and urged for urgent intervention.
The Principal Secretary (Home), Government of Manipur has also been apprised of the matter and it has been reported that talk between the State Government and Odisha Chief Secretary is already underway.
L Poumai was travelling to Bangalore by train from Dimapur on November 29.On the same day, he called up one of his family members at around 4.55 pm and complained of being threatened by around five unidentified persons.
Then the call reportedly got disconnected.
L Poumai was nowhere to be seen though the train he was travelling on reached Bangalore on November 30 .
His dead body was found at Capital Hospital, Bhubaneswar, Odisha on December 1 .
L Poumai was suspectedly thrown out of a moving train by the attackers.
A police FIR No 0249/ 2015 was reportedly lodged on December 1 .
