Get vaccinated, urges PTFC-19

Imphal, July 04 2021: Stating that vaccination is the key to defeat the Covid pandemic, the People Task Force for COVID-19 (PTFC-19) has urged everyone to discard vaccine hesitancy and get themselves inoculated at the earliest.

A press release issued by PTFC-19 said that collective effort should also be put in place to ensure everyone follows the standard operating procedures (SOPs) of COVID-19 such as wearing face masks, washing hands frequently and maintaining enough distance from others to avoid virus transmission.

PTFC-19, while lauding the task forces at the locality level in their commitment to bring the pandemic to an end, asked people to not believe in rumours about the Covid vaccine, which has been approved globally.

Meanwhile, the Task Force distributed face masks and hand sanitizers to different Covid task force units of Imphal West such at Thangmeiband Sinam Leikai, Uripok Bachaspati Leikai, Uripok Mayai Leikai, Uripok Haobam Dewan Leikai, Khagempalli Nganapithong Mamang, Singjamei Leishangthem Leikai, Kanglatongbi, Khurkhul, Kachikhul, Kangmong and Lamjaotongba.
