Bishnupur, December 25 2021: As observed across the country, Good Governance Day was also observed in Bishnupur district on Saturday to commemorate the birth anniversary of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

Kh Nabakumar, BJP intending candidate of Kumbi in association with BJP Moirang Mandal observed Good Governance Day at his residence in Kumbi Bazar.

It was attended by former president BJP Manipur Pradesh, M Bhorot Singh; former MP Rajya Sabha & former President BJP Manipur Pradesh, Ksh Bhabhananda Singh; BJP Manipur Pradesh vice president and in charge Bishnupur District, L Meenabanta; and Member ICAR New Delhi, Kh Nabakumar as presidium members.

Speaking on the occasion, Ksh Bhabhananda stressed on the need to elect a candidate who would work sincerely and dedicatedly for the welfare of the people to bring good governance in the state.

He mentioned that the state cannot develop without a leader with the vision to bring fast pace development and economic growth.

Good Governance Day observed

M Bhorot appealed to the people of Kumbi AC and intending candidates to support the candidate who received the party ticket to ensure the victory of BJP in the upcoming election.

Similarly, the Election Management Committee for M Prithviraj also observed Good Governance Day at the residence of BJP intending candidate for Moirang AC, M Prithviraj by paying floral tributes to a portrait of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee.

The programme was participated by the people of Moirang AC Polling 27/34 Tronglaobi Awang Maning Leikai; Polling 27/35 Tronglaobi Awang Mamang Leikai; and Polling 27/36 Tronglaobi Makha Leikai.

Moreover, Moirang AC MLA, P Sharatchandra also led the observation of Good Governance Day conducted by BJP Moirang Mandal.

It was attended by Vishtarak, Bishnupur District in charge, Barun Methy; Vishtarak incharge BJP Moirang Mandal, Barun Singha; and vice president BJP Bishnupur District Committee and BJP Moirang Mandal in charge, Kh Lakshman Singh along with party workers.

A two minute silence was also observed to pay respect to the former Prime Minister.

Likewise, Oinam AC MLA, L Radhakishor also observed Good Governance Day at Oinam by paying floral tributes.
