"Hill Leaders Day and Meeyamgi Numit" held across State

Bpr/Chd/Ccp/Jbm/Spi/Thb/Ukl, September 16 2022: District Administration Bishnupur today organised the widely acclaimed "Meeyamgi Numit" at Panchayat Resource Centre Hall, Mini Secretariat Complex in Bishnupur district.

During the programme Deputy Commissioner Bishnupur, Lourembam Bikram interacted with the applicants in the presence of Additional SP, Divisional Forest Officer, SDOs/BDOs and District Level Officers.

Altogether, 177 grievances were heard today under the coordination of H Bobby Sharma, ADM Bishnupur and Ejaj Hassan, AC to DC.

The Chief Medical Office and District Social Welfare Office also set up stalls to facilitate complaints on CMHT, PMJAY, Old Age Pension and Widow Pension Schemes.

CHANDEL
The 3rd edition of "District Hill Leaders Day and Meeyamgi Numit"'was held today at Multipurpose hall, Mini Secretariat, DC complex, Chandel.

Speaking on the occasion, Deputy Commissioner Chandel, Mayanglambam Rajkumar informed that the next "Hill Leaders Day and Meeyamgi Numit" will be conducted at different locations of Chandel so that people from across the district avail the benefits of the programme.

ADC Chandel, Md Firoj Khan and SDOs of the 3 Subdivisions also interacted with the village leaders and discussed their issues.

CHURACHANDPUR
District Administration Churachandpur also organised "District Hill Leaders Day and Meeyamgi Numit" today at Multipurpose Hall, Mini-Secretariat Complex, Tuibong.

DC Churachandpur, Sharath Chandra Arroju along with District Level Officers and Officers from line departments interacted with the villagers to address their grievances.

A total of 150 complaints/applications were received out of which 110 were resolved on the spot.

JIRIBAM
District Administration Jiribam also organised the 3rd of "Meeyamgi Numit & Hill Leaders Day" today at Chingdong Leikai, DC Complex Jiribam.

Additional DC Jiribam, Jameson Hangshing; SDO Jiribam, S Indrajit Singh; Zonal Education Officer, Th Amurashi Chanu; W Anandakumar Singh, EE PHED; K Kirankumar Singh, DGM, MSPDCL; M Devananda Singh.

SDC Borobekra and other DLOs of the district attended the event.

Department of Horticulture & Soil Conservation distributed around two hundred G9 banana saplings to one selected farmer, CAF & PD Department distributed 4 LPG cylinders to selected beneficiaries, 24 Old Age Pension Scheme, CM Widow pension Scheme and CMST forms were issued by the Social Welfare Department.

Apart from providing Scheme oriented services on the spot, 3 people were administered Covid vaccine by Jiribam CMO team led by Dr N Soroja Devi, MO.

SENAPATI
District Administration Senapati also organised the "District Hill Leaders Day and Meeyamgi Numit" today at Multipurpose Hall, Mini Secretariat, Senapati.

In the programme, 116 grievances were registered and presented to DC and DLOs.

Medical Department also opened a stall for screening Non-Communicable Diseases and Covid vaccination.

48 persons availed free check-up under Chief Minister Health for All.

7 persons were vaccinated with Covid Shield booster dose by CASA team (Churches Auxiliaries Social Activists) .

THOUBAL
District Administration Thoubal also conducted "Meeyamgi Numit" today at Counting Hall, DC Office Complex.

DC Thoubal, A Subhash Singh heard various grievances and demands of the public personally.

He also distributed CMHT cards to two beneficiaries, gas connection to 11 women beneficiaries under Ujjwala scheme and Food Safety Registration certificate to 11 , persons.

Altogether, 231 applications were received relating to different schemes like CMHT Card, old age/Widow pension card, weaver card, housing schemes and others.

SP Thoubal, Jogeshchandra Haobijam; CMO Thoubal, Dr Y Nokul; SDOs, and DLOs of different Departments attended the programme.

UKHRUL
Ukhrul District Administration also organised "District Hill Leaders Day & Meeyamgi Numit" today at DRDA Training Hall, MiniSecretariat, Ukhrul.

In the event, DC Ukhrul, Krishna Kumar heard the grievances of the public in the presence of Ningshem Vashum; ADM, Chunglenmang Kipgen and DFO, Shanngam.

28 Departments including Agriculture, Veterinary, Medical, Social Welfare, CAF&PD, Handloom & Textiles, PHED and MSPDCL took part in the event.

81 applications relating to different issues were received, out of which 78 were resolved on the spot.
